The NetVanta 6360 is a Carrier Ethernet Customer Edge IP Business Gateway that collapses the functionality of a converged business-class voice gateway, an access router for data services and a Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF)-compliant Carrier Ethernet services gateway into a single, optimized platform for the streamlined business services delivery. Eliminating the need for multiple, single-purpose devices that independently support each of these services enables service providers to expand service offerings while gaining significant operational efficiency and a more competitive service portfolio.
Modular Hardware
The NetVanta 6360 is a modular platform for global deployments with WAN interface options for quad bonded VDSL2 as well as a quad and octal SHDSL(EoCu). There are five Gigabit interfaces available — all with Carrier Ethernet functionality — one SFP, one combo (Copper or SFP), and three copper.
