Battery backup and surge protection in a compact housing
The Tripp Lite series standby UPS is a low-maintenance, easy-to-use solution for battery backup and surge protection. A compact housing, automatic restart and versatile mounting options make this UPS suitable for protecting retail point-of-sale (POS) systems, home networking equipment, wireless access points and other applications where a networked UPS is not needed.
Combining reliable double-conversion topology, internal static bypass and an easy-to-read LCD menu display, the Eaton 9SX UPS provides the highly efficient and reliable power you expect from a 9-series UPS in a convenient tower form factor. Network, Modbus, relay and signal input functionality enables integration into a variety of IoT and IIoT applications.
Features and benefits
Simple operation
Begin protecting equipment in just a few moments. Plug the UPS into a properly grounded wall outlet, press the power button and connect equipment to the UPS outlets. For convenience, the input power cord, outlets, power button and status LEDs are all on the same side.
Reliable, low-maintenance battery backup
During short blackouts and brownouts, the UPS switches to battery power to keep connected equipment running. Battery backup also provides time to save data and shut down devices in case of a longer outage. Automatic restart after outages, regardless of battery charge level, reduces site visits. The VRLA battery is user-replaceable to extend the service life of the UPS.
Easy local monitoring
An audible alarm and a red LED indicate a low battery or a fault condition. A green LED indicates power and line/battery mode status.
Effective surge protection and line noise filtering
Rated for 190 joules of surge suppression, the UPS protects connected devices from the harmful effects of power surges. Filtering of electromagnetic and radio frequency interference helps
protect devices from hardware damage and data loss.
Compact housing with versatile deployment options
The low-profile housing supports a variety of mounting choices.
- Its small size makes the UPS suitable for desktop or floor placement.
- Keyhole slots on the bottom of the UPS enable wall mounting and are spaced in a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern for mounting to the back of a monitor. Mounting screws are included.
- Attachment points allow the UPS to be secured to a shelf or beam with user-supplied cable ties.
Fewer nuisance alarms
When the UPS is in battery backup mode, the alarm remains silent unless there is a low battery or fault condition.
Durable construction
The hardened housing allows use in locations with uncontrolled temperature or humidity. Operating temperature range is 32° to 122° F (0° to 50° C).
